Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:

“This Sauvignon Blanc favors a crisp angular profile on the periphery, with a plush braided center palate that suggests notes of white-fleshed stone fruit, high toned floral notes, and a bracing acid backbone that carries through for almost a minute on the mouth-watering finish.  Aromas of lemon verbena, blossoming jasmine and kefir lime resonate from the glass.

“Palate notes include lychee, peach skin, grapefruit pith and green apple.  This wine possesses a stern minerality that starts immediately in the front and carries all the way through to the finish. It’s marked by a dry flintiness that speaks to the ancient riverbed gravel that is littered throughout the vineyard.  As far as examples of Sauvignon Blanc, this one is crisp and structured with a complimentary amount of fruit in the core.”
